A limited edition release commemorating a moment of drama in the Glenfiddich Distilleries history.

With a combination of natural strength and non-chill filtered casks that varied in age and finish, the golden single malt features copper highlights. The wild flavours of this limited edition Single Malt Scotch whisky include apples roasted in campfire ambers, sweetened with heather honey and accompanied by a little chocolate. Rich and complex with a trace of burned sugar, coffee and wood smoke, it features an exceptionally long finish, and austere sherry notes that mellow into satisfying sweetness. 

Creamy and vibrant on the nose, with honey and chocolate on the palate. And sherry notes mellowing into a long finish.

On the 7^th of January 2010, 1.2m of snow caused a few of the warehouse roofs to collapse at the Glenfiddich Distellery, exposing maturing oak casks.

Working through -19°C temperature conditions, the distillery staff and Malt Master Brian Kinsman had to act fast.

Standing amongst the wreckage and exposed casks, they were working out the next steps and assessing the situation. "I was thinking about how the casks, some of which were very old, contained some beautiful whisky and it occurred to me that they would create a fantastic non-aged single malt. A limited edition bottling from the whiskies in the damaged warehouses would be an appropriate way of celebrating the pioneering spirit of the distillery team at this moment in Glenfiddich’s history,” began Brian Kinsman. “A photographer was shooting the scene and rather fittingly, when we looked at the pictures, the light shining through the warehouse roofs looked like a phoenix rising above us. I suppose this was the moment of conception of Glenfiddich Snow Phoenix,”

All orders are shipped from our central warehouse located in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. Local orders are usually delivered in 0-2 working days. Orders outside of Cape Town but within SA are generally delivered within 2-5 working days. While we strive for timely deliveries, there are occasional instances where delays may occur. These are rare but can happen due to unforeseen circumstances.

Delivery Rates:

At checkout, you will be presented with shipping options and corresponding rates. These rates are provided directly by our courier partners and are displayed as is. On rare occasions, a courier may generate an incorrect delivery rate due to issues with the address recognition. In such cases, we will arrange for an alternative courier to ship your order at a similar rate to the original cost.

We believe in offering transparency in our delivery fees and, as such, do not include any delivery costs in our product pricing. We do not profit from delivery fees.

Third-Party Couriers:

For the majority of our orders, we rely on third-party courier services for delivery. Regular notifications will be sent and on the day of delivery the couriers will notify you via sms, call or email . If the courier is unable to reach you, we will get in touch with you to arrange an alternative solution.

Please note, cancellations will incur a small fee of 10%, which covers the transaction fees we incur for processing each order.
