Glenfarclas 33 Year Old 1988 (Cask #7124)

From the distinguished family-owned Speyside distillery of Glenfarclas (Ballindalloch, Scotland), this single-cask release captures more than three decades of maturation in cask #7124. Matured for 33 years before bottling in late 2022, it is a rare and refined expression with a very limited outturn of only 189 bottles, each individually numbered.

For the collector and connoisseur, this bottle offers heritage, scarcity and the hallmark Glenfarclas sherry-matured style at its mature best.

Tasting Notes

Colour: Deep amber-mahogany, with a rich sheen that hints at long wood maturation and concentrated flavour.

Nose: An opulent introduction: rich dried fruits-raisins, figs, dark cherries; then polished oak, old leather, tobacco leaf, honeyed malt and delicate spice. The hallmark Glenfarclas sherry butt character is present in full form.

Palate: Luxuriously smooth and layered: orchard fruit preserve, caramelised toffee, malted barley sweetness, and dark chocolate interplay with finishing spice—nutmeg, cloves—and refined oak tannin. The elevated ABV adds amplitude and depth without harshness.

Finish: Long, elegant and lingering. Warm spice, toasted nuts, polished wood and a subtle saline hint combine to leave a resonant impression of maturity and coherence.

All orders are delivered from our central warehouse located in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. Local orders are usually delivered in 0-2 working days. Orders outside of Cape Town but within SA are generally delivered within 2-5 working days. If you require expedited delivery, we now offer an Express delivery service, which typically takes 1-3 working days, depending on your area.

While we strive for timely deliveries, there are occasional instances where delays may occur. These are rare but can happen due to unforeseen circumstances.

Delivery Rates:

For the majority of our orders, we rely on third-party courier services for delivery. Regular notifications will be sent and on the day of delivery the couriers will notify you via sms, call or email . If the courier is unable to reach you, we will get in touch with you to arrange an alternative solution.
