Older / Aged Brandy
Aged brandy is a distilled spirit that has been aged in oak barrels for an extended period, typically for more than 3 years. Brandy is made by distilling wine or fermented fruit juice, and aging it in oak barrels adds complexity, depth, and character to the spirit.
The aging process of brandy softens the harshness of the alcohol while imparting flavors from the oak barrel, such as vanilla, caramel, and spice. The longer the brandy ages, the more complex and refined the flavor becomes, which is why older brandies are highly sought after by connoisseurs.
