An exceptional vintage, six years of patient maturation and one of the most beautiful bottles in Champagne. Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque 2018 is a celebration of elegance, artistry and the remarkable character of a generous harvest.
Founded in 1811, Maison Perrier-Jouët has spent more than two centuries establishing itself as one of Champagne's most distinguished houses. Renowned for its delicate, floral style and its close relationship with the world of art, the house has become synonymous with elegance and exceptional craftsmanship.
At the pinnacle of its collection sits Belle Époque, the house's prestigious vintage cuvée, produced only in years when the quality of the harvest meets its exacting standards.
The 2018 vintage is a particularly expressive example, capturing the generosity of an exceptionally warm and sunny growing season while retaining the freshness, finesse and delicate floral character for which Perrier-Jouët is celebrated.
The 2018 Vintage
The 2018 growing season in Champagne was characterised by a mild, wet winter followed by a warm spring and a beautifully sunny summer.
Despite periods of significant rainfall earlier in the year, favourable conditions during flowering and a prolonged spell of warm, dry weather allowed the grapes to reach excellent maturity.
The result was an abundant harvest with beautifully ripe fruit, providing the ideal foundation for a Champagne that combines generosity and richness with remarkable elegance.
Under the guidance of Cellar Master Séverine Frerson, the 2018 Belle Époque was crafted from a carefully balanced blend of 50% Chardonnay, 45% Pinot Noir and 5% Meunier.
Chardonnay provides the signature floral elegance and freshness, while Pinot Noir contributes structure, depth and ripe fruit character. A small proportion of Meunier adds roundness and harmony.
Following blending, the Champagne spent at least six years ageing on its lees in Perrier-Jouët's cellars, developing additional complexity, texture and refinement.
The finished wine is a beautiful expression of the 2018 vintage: generous yet delicate, expressive yet wonderfully precise.
An Iconic Bottle
Few Champagne bottles are as instantly recognisable as Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque.
Its distinctive design features delicate white Japanese anemones, originally created in 1902 by celebrated Art Nouveau artist Émile Gallé.
The elegant floral artwork has become one of the most enduring symbols of the house, reflecting Perrier-Jouët's long-standing appreciation for nature, beauty and artistic expression.
More than a century later, the bottle remains a genuine design icon, making Belle Époque as impressive to present as it is to enjoy.

Why We Love It
There are Champagnes you open to celebrate an occasion, and then there are Champagnes that make the occasion feel even more special.
Perrier-Jouët Belle Époque belongs firmly in the second category.
The 2018 vintage is particularly compelling because it combines the richness of a warm, generous growing season with the elegance and finesse that define the house's style.
It's a Champagne that doesn't rely on sheer power to impress. Instead, it delivers beautiful balance, delicate floral complexity and an exceptionally refined drinking experience.
The extended ageing adds depth and texture without overwhelming the wine's natural freshness, while the iconic Émile Gallé bottle remains one of the most beautiful presentations in the world of Champagne.
Whether you're celebrating an important milestone, looking for an exceptional gift or adding a distinguished vintage to your collection, Belle Époque 2018 is a wonderful choice.
A remarkable vintage, a masterpiece of Champagne craftsmanship and proof that true luxury is often found in the finest details.
