Another Macallan Price increase

The recent price increases of Macallan whisky have been met with mixed reactions from whisky drinkers around the world. The iconic Scottish distillery, which is owned by Edrington, recently announced that prices for its whiskies will be increasing by up to 25% for the second time in 6 Months.

The Macallan is one of the most popular whiskies in the world and certainly one of the most popular with our customers, and its high price tag reflects the quality of the product. The distillery is known for its use of sherry-seasoned oak casks, which gives the whisky its distinctive flavor and aroma. The increased cost of these casks, along with rising demand, is the main reason behind the price increase.

While some whisky drinkers are disappointed by the news, others understand that the price increases are necessary to ensure the quality of the product. The Macallan’s commitment to using the best ingredients and craftsmanship means that it is one of the most sought-after whiskies in the world. The price increase will help the distillery to continue producing whisky of the highest quality.

Whisky drinkers should also keep in mind that while the prices of Macallan whisky have increased, it is still relatively affordable compared to other premium whiskies. If you’re looking for a quality whisky, Macallan is still a great choice and the price increases shouldn’t put you off.

If you're a whisky collector this means two things, acquiring Macallan for your collection portfolio will be alot higher and the current Macallan stock in your collection will have become a very valuable asset.
Our increase will be implemented during February as old stocks get depleted and newer batches filter in.

The hilarity in the author’s words, saying this is “relatively affordable” compared to premium offerings and the prices “shouldn’t put you off”. Any Scotch drinker that knows how to spell Macallan also knows that they are THE most overpriced mainstream single malt, without question. No worries everyone! It’s affordable at $400USD+ for the 18 year when comparable offerings (Glendronach, Glenlivet, Tomatin, Glenfiddich, Glenfarclas 17yr) are below $200USD.
