Mothercity Liquor has the largest Liquor selection in South Africa and we ship internationally to your door. International shipping rates are based on weight and the country being shipped to.
International Shipping usually takes us between 4 to 8 working days, but we do experience the occasional delay with customs and clearance in certain countries. Once your order arrives in your country, excise duties and taxes are payable before the release of your order by the local customs offices.

All our products on our site are subject to South African Tax.
If you are ordering for delivery outside of South Africa your order will be subject to local sales taxes and duties upon arrival in your chosen country, which are levied at the time the package clears customs. All additional charges are the responsibility of the recipient. As customs policies vary widely from country to country, Mothercity Liquor has no control over these charges, for more information and clarity on these charges you should contact your local customs office.
Refusal to pay the local import duties and taxes will result in the goods either being:
- destroyed by customs; or
- goods being returned to sender at the cost of the consignee (costs will be deducted from any refund owed).
If your order is being held by your local customs office, you will be able to determine this from the information viewable through the tracking process.
