Domaine de Cristia Châteauneuf-du-Pape Cuvée Renaissance 2022 is a distinguished red wine from the Châteauneuf-du-Pape appellation in the Southern Rhône Valley, France. This cuvée represents the pinnacle of the estate's offerings, showcasing the exceptional quality of their old-vine Grenache and Mourvèdre.

The 2022 vintage is a blend of 60% Grenache from 114-year-old vines in the Cristia Haut lieu-dit and 40% Mourvèdre from 55-year-old vines in the southeastern part of the appellation. The grapes are cultivated on sandy clay soils with eastern exposure, contributing to the wine's elegance and complexity. Fermentation occurs in concrete vats with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging for 24 months in a combination of new and used French oak barrels, including demi-muids and barriques.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Deep ruby with a plum hue.

Nose: Captivating aromas of orange rind, crushed violet, strawberry, melted licorice, and herbal nuances.

Palate: Full-bodied and concentrated, offering layers of spiced fruitcake, plum, cherry liqueur, graphite, and smoke. The wine is dense and robust, with structured yet well-integrated tannins, culminating in a refined and elegant finish.

Food Pairing: This wine pairs beautifully with grilled or roasted meats (lamb, beef, duck), hearty stews, and aged cheeses.

Delivery Rates:

On rare occasions, a courier may generate an incorrect delivery rate due to issues with the address recognition. In such cases, we will arrange for an alternative courier to ship your order at a similar rate to the original cost.

We believe in offering transparency in our delivery fees and, as such, do not include any delivery costs in our product pricing. We do not profit from delivery fees.
