Release No. 3 in the Icons of Campbeltown series pays tribute to the resilience and generosity that define the Campbeltown distilling community. Inspired by the Campbeltown Market Cross — a historic gathering place carved with saints and mythical beasts — this release tells a story of shared heritage and enduring local spirit.
This edition draws its inspiration from the Wulver of Scottish folklore, a mythical guardian known for strength, solitude, and quiet generosity. Like the legend it honours, this whisky reflects the values of compassion, resilience, and community that have sustained Campbeltown through centuries of change.
Aged for 12 years and bottled unpeated, this limited edition single malt is finished for nine months in Tawny Port casks. The result is a deep, inviting colour with rich notes of red forest berries and indulgent caramel. Dried fruits and a subtle maritime breeze lift the nose, while the finish is long, warming, and true to the character of Glen Scotia.
The label artwork, created by artist Joel Holtzman, brings the Wulver vividly to life — a powerful symbol of generosity and guardianship, best enjoyed with a dram in hand.
Tasting Notes:
Nose:
Dried red fruits, stewed berries and soft caramel sweetness, lifted by a gentle maritime breeze. Subtle notes of honeyed malt, toasted oak and a hint of spice follow.
Palate:
Rich and rounded with flavours of red forest berries, dark toffee and port-soaked dried fruits. The unpeated spirit allows the cask influence to shine, balanced by creamy malt and a touch of coastal salinity.
Finish:
Long, warming and indulgent. Lingering notes of caramelised sugar, dried fruit and soft oak fade slowly, leaving a clean, maritime freshness.

All orders are delivered from our central warehouse located in Montague Gardens, Western Cape. Local orders are usually delivered in 0-2 working days. Orders outside of Cape Town but within SA are generally delivered within 2-5 working days. If you require expedited delivery, we now offer an Express delivery service, which typically takes 1-3 working days, depending on your area.
While we strive for timely deliveries, there are occasional instances where delays may occur. These are rare but can happen due to unforeseen circumstances.
Delivery Rates:
At checkout, you will be presented with delivery options and corresponding rates. These rates are provided directly by our courier partners and are displayed as is. On rare occasions, a courier may generate an incorrect delivery rate due to issues with the address recognition. In such cases, we will arrange for an alternative courier to deliver your order at a similar rate to the original cost.
We believe in offering transparency in our delivery fees and, as such, do not include any delivery costs in our product pricing. We do not profit from delivery fees.
Third-Party Couriers:
For the majority of our orders, we rely on third-party courier services for delivery. Regular notifications will be sent and on the day of delivery the couriers will notify you via sms, call or email . If the courier is unable to reach you, we will get in touch with you to arrange an alternative solution.
