Le Serre Nuove dell'Ornellaia 2020 is a distinguished red wine from the Bolgheri appellation in Tuscany, Italy. As the second wine of the esteemed Ornellaia estate, it embodies the same dedication to excellence and meticulous craftsmanship. This vintage is a harmonious blend of 44% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 13% Cabernet Franc, and 13% Petit Verdot, showcasing the estate's commitment to Bordeaux varietals cultivated in the Tuscan terroir.

The 2020 growing season was characterized by a mild winter, followed by a warm spring and a hot, dry summer. These conditions led to an early harvest, resulting in wines of remarkable concentration and aromatic richness. Each grape variety was harvested and vinified separately, with fermentation occurring in stainless steel and concrete vats. The wine was then aged for 15 months in French oak barriques (25% new), followed by an additional 6 months of bottle aging prior to release.

Appearance: Deep ruby red with purple highlights.

Nose: Generous aromas of ripe red fruits, including cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle notes of spice and floral undertones.

Palate: Soft, rounded, and enveloping, yet full-bodied and substantial. The wine exhibits a remarkable balance between structure, fullness, and elegance, with velvety tannins and a persistent finish.

While we strive for timely deliveries, there are occasional instances where delays may occur. These are rare but can happen due to unforeseen circumstances.

Delivery Rates:

At checkout, you will be presented with shipping options and corresponding rates. These rates are provided directly by our courier partners and are displayed as is. On rare occasions, a courier may generate an incorrect delivery rate due to issues with the address recognition. In such cases, we will arrange for an alternative courier to ship your order at a similar rate to the original cost.

We believe in offering transparency in our delivery fees and, as such, do not include any delivery costs in our product pricing. We do not profit from delivery fees.

For the majority of our orders, we rely on third-party courier services for delivery. Regular notifications will be sent and on the day of delivery the couriers will notify you via sms, call or email . If the courier is unable to reach you, we will get in touch with you to arrange an alternative solution.
