This wine is a blend of 53% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Cinsault, 17% Merlot, 7% Petit Verdot and 3% Cabernet franc from specially selected vineyard sites around the Stellenbosch region.
This wine has a beautiful deep garnet colour. Aromas of cassis, blackberries and blueberries burst from the glass with underlying notes of cedar wood and tobacco spice. There are flavours of dark briary fruit, dried Italian herbs and notes of five spice on the palate. The entry is full and rich leading to a textured dry finish.
This wine is great companion at a braai before, during and after. Pairs especially well with herb crusted rack of Lamb.
