The 2024 vintage of Scions of Sinai's 'Krummelklip' Cabernet Sauvignon continues winemaker Bernhard Bredell's dedication to expressing the unique terroir of the Lower Helderberg region. Sourced from a single vineyard on Rustenhof Farm, this wine reflects the maritime influence and decomposed granite soils characteristic of the area. The name 'Krummelklip', meaning 'crumbled stone' in Afrikaans, pays homage to the iron-rich ferricrete and koffieklip soils that impart distinct minerality and structure to the wine.

Tasting Notes:

Appearance: Deep garnet with a vibrant ruby rim.

Aroma: Enticing aromas of cranberry, raspberry, and cassis, complemented by subtle leafy undertones.

Palate: Medium-bodied with energetic acidity and fine-grained tannins. The palate is dry and precise, showcasing pure fruit flavors and a lingering mineral finish.

Vinification: 15% whole-cluster fermentation followed by 11 months maturation in older 225-litre barrels.

Delivery Rates:

On rare occasions, a courier may generate an incorrect delivery rate due to issues with the address recognition. In such cases, we will arrange for an alternative courier to deliver your order at a similar rate to the original cost.

We believe in offering transparency in our delivery fees and, as such, do not include any delivery costs in our product pricing. We do not profit from delivery fees.

For the majority of our orders, we rely on third-party courier services for delivery. Regular notifications will be sent and on the day of delivery the couriers will notify you via sms, call or email . If the courier is unable to reach you, we will get in touch with you to arrange an alternative solution.
